im bringing this back
… that nobody noticed that David Kelly (The dude that played Grandpa Joe in Tim Burton’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory) died. :(
But I was already sad from the Titanic
SPOILER ALERT
I do say stuff about the movie.
I promised Marisa that we’d both see titanic for the first time together, so today we went and saw it in 3D. At first I didn’t really like it before tonight, just because it was apparently this great movie but I’ve never seen it so I wanted to fight the current. What was I doing. That movie has a VIP section in my heart now. There was one part that put me over the edge. I have never cried at a movie before. Even when Dobbie died of a stab wound in Harry Potter. But tonight I shed tears. Let me set the stage. The ships sinking is inevitable. The string quartet that plays during dinners is now on the deck playing in vein to calm the masses. They stop when they know there is no use. Everyone said their formal farewells. As they start to walk away one of them starts to play the saddest solo. Then one turns back and plays with him. And so do the other two. And they play one last song together as the ship goes down. When they end the man says “Gentlemen, it was a pleasure playing with you” I had tears streaming down my face, but I didn’t reach to wipe them because I’ve never cried from a movie before. And Celine Dion never helped because she wrote the most heart tugging power ballad just for the movie.

THIS is most definitely not getting to know our band directors well. Being roundhouse kicked by your band director is getting to know them well.
